Captain Jack - one of the most wellknown pop- & dance acts worldwide was created in the 90´s by the german musicproducer Udo Niebergall. It is the unique mix between party music and the “millitary-dance-sound” that brings everyone on the dancefloor. The uniform and the red hat are the trademarks of Captain Jack.

Captain Jack celebrates the Reunion: Bruce Lacy & Laura Martin are the explosive new cast of Captain Jack. They conquer the international charts with their new album ´Back to the 90´s´. Whether they perform on the big summer-festivals in front of 50.000 people or do club gigs with 1.000 partypeople – Captain Jack fascinates everybody. HISTORY: Captain Jack is a registered trademark of Udo Niebergall. In the past the project has had many different cast members. Even though the first “Captain Jack” singer was Durbin with female singer Liza da Costa that started off the project with the opening single, it was Franky Gee that gave the fantasy captain a distinctive face for over 10 years. After his tragic decease in 2005 and the following numerous fanletters received, the production team made the decision to continue with the project Captain Jack and cast new members. Amongst the multitude of contestants the best two were chosen: Bruce Lacy & Laura Martin. With 12 gold and 7 platinum awards, worldhits like “Captain Jack”, “Soldier, Soldier” and “Drill Instructor” as well as over 7 million sold records (singles and albums) and 35 million sold samples is Captain Jack one of the most successful acts of its kind. Captain Jack received the “VIVA-Comet”award as “best dance act”, the “RSH Gold trophee”, the “Golden Microphone” as well as 3 nominations for Europe´s biggest musicaward, the “ECHO”. TV campaigns in the USA (Vermont Teddy Bear with “Only you”) , songs on Konami´s “Dance Dance Revolution” (DDR, Playstation) in Japan and the USA as well as Microsofts ”LIPS” made Captain Jack a true game-sector-Icon. In the year 1999 the song “Get up” was produced by Captain Jack and the “Gipsy Kings” in Austin/Texas. It became a huge summerhit. The only performance together worldwide, took place on the the 17.07.1999 on the biggest german tv-show “Wetten, dass…” in the bullfight arena in Mallorca.

The album „Captain Jack is back“ was released in 2008. With the coorperation of SEAT cars, Captain Jack performed a following promotion tour throughout Germany on the ship “Ibiza Island”. Songs in the Music charts in Holland and Turkey, a Germany concert tour and record-breaking clicks on youtube and myspace were a proven record of success of the new single “Turkish Bazar”.

2010 we celebrate Captain Jack ´s 15th anniversary. The new album “Back to the deancefloor” will contain DJ remixes of the greatest hits as well as new compositions in the 90´s style. It will be released in 2010 with a videoclip and a huge promotional campaign.

SHOWPROGRAM:
In a 40 minute live performance, Captain Jack shows its success-proven music repertoire. Beginning the show with the ultimate top-hits that were successful worldwide, (“Captain Jack”, “Soldier, Soldier”, “Drill Instructor”) the journey takes you way back into the 90´s. This music genre fascinates Young and Old again, if nothing else through the TV-music-show “Ultimative Chartshow” on RTL and the popular 90´s parties in clubs and on festivals.
